Tiffany's Birthday

Wow! 35 Years old this year. I am now as close to 40 as I am to 30. It's hard to believe. For my birthday, my girls made me some flowers, Kris got me an ice cream cake and took me out to one of our favorite restaurants to eat (Josh was the babysitter!!), and I cut my hair off. When people start telling me I look younger with short hair at this age, I listen.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year our kids did their Easter Egg Hunt with some neighborhood kids. They were able to fill some eggs themselves and then hunt them in the community back yard. Then, the Easter Bunny left some stuff at our house while we were in Omaha. It all worked out very nicely. Josh was conspicuously gone from this activity. He is getting too old and cool for such things. I suppose I agree.

Trip To Omaha

As part of our spring break, we went to Omaha overnight. We visited the great Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. That is where a couple of these pics were taken. Jack took the one of Emmie with her head cut off. We ate lunch at Petro's, a favorite diner of ours from our days of living in Omaha. We then took the kids to the Mormon Trail Center while we did tag team sessions at the temple. That night we stayed in a lodge at a state park. The kids thought it was a great experience. The next morning we went to the SAC (Strategic Air Command) museum. We saw lots of big planes and the kids even got to play in the cockpit of one. It was a fun little trip, even if it did snow on us.

Spring Break

One day during spring break, I took the kids to the Iowa Science Center. They had a great time building different things like an archway and rockets that really flew. They were also on the noon news weather that has a broadcast booth right in the science center. We had a fun day together.

Formal Easter Pics

Here are some pictured of the kids at Easter. I only got the girls in their dresses. With church at 9:00 am, I am hard pressed to have us all dressed in time, let alone take pictures. And the boys don't want to be photographed in nice clothes anyway. Usually there is a path of clothes leading up the stairs after church as they can't get changed fast enough.
