One Last Bit of Holiday Fun!

Today was our last day of Christmas vacation, so we decided to do one last exciting thing before school starts up again and we start our countdown to warmer weather (yes! I am on the countdown. I miss Texas weather soooo much.)

We met up with Nielsens and Cooks for a little skating adventure. This is the first time our kids have been ice skating and it was pretty fun. Jack kept connected to my hands the whole time, but the rest of the kids were pretty brave and were out on the ice alone. And they only fell a couple times and no major catastrophes.

I think we will be trying that adventure again sometime--with Dad! It was lots of fun. Now back to normal life, normal schedules. Yeah!!!

Welcome 2009!

This year marked the first time in 16 years that Kris and I didn't ring in the new year together. He was busy partying with the youth at the Stake youth dance while the kids and I spent the evening with the some friends. We had a fun time playing games, visiting and eating, eating, eating. Now it's the new year and on to those resolutions (that don't involve eating, eating, eating!).
