Not much happening on our house (even though today was the deadline for closing...grrrr). So instead of sitting around in our cramped quarters, we decided to take the kids skiing/snowboarding to bide the time last weekend. Jack and Josh tried boarding while the rest of us hit the skis. I haven't been since high school, Kris had done it once, many moons ago, and the kids were all new. But after some lessons, they all really took to it and had a great time.
The only downside--Jack fell (early in the day) and broke his finger. But never fear, swollen hand and all, he toughed it out and boarded the whole day. We didn't discover the fracture until Monday morning with an x-ray. But it is healing nicely, and I think we will try it again.

Poor Jack...but when will the house be done? Are you just about ready to pull your hair out?!
NEVER! And yes, the hair is almost gone! Now they say end of March. Are you kidding me!
