This year summertime for our family means big road trip for our summer vacation. Our summer vacations typically mean home to Grandma's in Idaho for a couple weeks, hanging out with family. But this year we are mixing it up a bit. We are hitting the road tomorrow morning for a week on the road, bonding as a family. And we are heading east! {Stay tuned for our daily update with the highlights of the different destinations.}
Over the past couple days we have completed my least favorite part of any trip--
the preparation.
We cleaned the house and washed the clothes so we could pack it all up.
Shoes alone are taking a good chunk of space.
We stocked up on snacks so we have things to eat while on the road for hours on end.
And we loaded up the car tonight so we are ready to hit the road bright and early. Now we just need to find room for us in the car.
